Out of the 3 million people who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19, 2 million are women. Mimi Women continues to support and empower women during the pandemic by running a COVID-19 Campaign for 16 days of Activism from November 2020 to April 2021.

Who we are
Mimi Women was established in 2014. We are a social enterprise that empowers women in Africa. Mimi Women isn’t just another brand on the shelf, we are the voice for the girls who can’t be heard, who battle to go to school every month because of the constraints of their livelihood. Mimi Women is a Level-1 BBBEE organisation focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through the education, employment and upliftment of women.
What we do
Our non-profit assists previously disadvantaged women and girls stay in school by providing them with locally-produced, high quality disposable sanitary pads. During COVID-19, Mimi has expanded efforts to support homeless and unemployed women nationally. We call on you to support those in need by making periods comfortable, together.
